Literature Text

Love is never easy. But how much complicated it can be? If you love your boss, or when you love your employee... some problems always occure.

Vincent tiredly sit in chair. He knew what he was waiting for and it wasn´t pleasant at all.. Actually he was looking forward to it too much and it bothered him. You need woman, just some woman, he tried to persuade himself. Without success. Knock on the door disturbed him from grim thoughts. "Come in," he said reluctantly, resting his elbows on the table. And here it is. His personal hell. How he deserved it?

Girl with red hair and devilishly green eyes came into office. Vincent quietly grinded his teeth. Why? Why?! "Mr. Harper?" asked the incoming politely. "Do you have a minute?"

"Certainly," said Vincent. "Do you have that text for me, Jane?" Jane smiled widely and sat down opposite Vincent's table. "I hope you enjoy it," she said and gave the boss her work. I like something totally different, he thought stiffly and looked at a sheet of paper.

He skipped through lines and frowned. "Once again about love?" He growled. It would be much easier with Jane if she writes normal songs. How to sleep peacefully when his lovely songwriter always brings him these things? How not to be eaten by jealousy at the thought of where is she taking inspiration from...

"Pardon?" Jane was surprised. Vincent just glared at her. "There are lots of lovesongs. He won´t success if we´re just same as any other band." "But it is the girls' band," Jane protested.
"And what about that?"  "All the girls´ bands sing about love ..."

Vincent angrily hit the table. "And that´s it! Nothing is different. See, "he said wearily, and rub the root of the nose. "At least once write something normal. Got it? "Jana clenched fists, but nodded. "Sure, boss," she murmured, quickly got up and went out of office.

Vincent sighed. Boss? Jane calls him so only when she´s in a bad mood. Oh, great. You´re surely going to get her like this... Should he give up already? Jane apparently has no interest, is young, maybe even has a boyfriend, thanks to whom she  writes the romantic shit...

He took a deep breath and began to rock in  chair. I´m worring too much for her, he  thought. It's just some chick. Why should I care? It would be better to get rid of her. Indeed, out of sight, out of mind. A couple of weeks and I won´t even remember her. A she´s not that perfect songwriter to be irreplacable. Sweet girlish songs  can write anyone. She means  nothing to me!

While Vincent was making his plans, Jane retreated to the stairs to the roof, her favorite place to hide. What Vincent disliked about that text? she thought angrily. So far, he  never complained! If he wants non-love text, had should say so.

Irritated, she pulled out her guitar. When she was a bad mood, the she used to play on it. Although usually only lullabies to calm, but nonetheless.

She slowly stroked the strings. She played a few uncertain chords. I've always felt that Vincent likes my lyrics, she thought. So far  he was always kind to me. * Sharp, loud chord * What was wrong with him today? * Two quiet chords * If you got scolded by another manager, you wouldn´t mind that much, said a quiet little voice in her head. Nonsense, Jane snarled. *Angry chord * Vincent is like any other boss. What bothers me is, that he could tell   me sooner.

See, he doesn´t want your love lyrics, small voice said. He doesn´t want to hear from me about love, thought Jane. It doesn´t interest him, he is just all about business. I´m just like any other employee for him...

"Haunting in the tower?" voice said behind Jane and she almost jumped. "Oh, Zack, what do you want?" Young musician smirked. "I heard you play," he said. "Are you mad?" "No," retorted Jane. "Sure," he laughed and sat on the step beside her.

"Come on, girl, what eats you?" "Nothing," Jane murmured quietly. "And for that nothing our beloved poet plays like this?" Asked Zack. "No big deal," retorted Jana She reached for a guitar case.

"Boss did not like my lyrics," she said huffily. "No?" Zack was honestly surprised. "He loves your texts. They are super, so what is the problem? " Jana shruged. "He said we have enough love songs."

"And what do you think?" "That this is the girls' band," "Pardon?" exclaimed Zack. "And I'm what?" Jane shrugged her shoulders again. "Only a drummer. But others are all girls  and singer´s a girl. "

"It is," Zack admitted. "Okay, so we are girls' band. What else did he say? " "He wants a normal text," Jane whimpered. "Normal? Your lyrics have no mistake, " cried out Zack. "We all love them. That he is a cold fish, that's his problem! "

Jane shook her head wearily. "He's the boss, so I can´t do anything with it." "Oh, you can," Zack interrupted her. "If he thinks that the band can live without your texts, it's time to take it on the chin." "Zack!" "I meant it metaphorically," he said. "But even so. Forget him. Just dissappear for days, and he will end begging you to write for him. "

She was on her feet and hanged guitar on her shoulder. "Forget him, okay? He just had a bad day today. He looked angrily already when I came to him, it probably has nothing with my text. " Zack just shrugged. "Even so, when his bees fly away, it doesn´t give him right to blame you."
